Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health in Early Years Home Based (men-heal-home)

Description
The course is aimed at anyone working in early years who could encounter stress and mental illness in the setting; from children, parents and all those who care for the children.

First Aid for mental health training has been proven to make a lasting difference in people’s knowledge and confidence around mental health and responsible employers are now seeing the positive benefits of considering mental health within the workplace.

Providers have a legal and regulatory duty of care to ensure their staff are provided with a safe working environment therefore they must take reasonable care to prevent personal injury in the workplace (including mental or physical harm). We will explore this aspect within the EYFS Statutory Framework.

This course provides an understanding of the role of the Mental Health First Aider in supporting everyone in the workplace who may be experiencing mental ill health or distress by having non-judgmental conversations through to guiding them towards the right support.
