This course is aimed at everyone who works in a home based early years setting and provides an understanding of the Equality Act (2010) with practical examples of how to ensure an inclusive environment.

Everyone has the right to be treated fairly, equally and be included in the workplace.

The Equality Act 2010 brought together several legislations to promote equality and to prevent discrimination due to having one or more of the protected characteristics.

This course covers the terms equality and diversity, the requirements of the Equality Act and the different types of discrimination, as well as how to promote inclusivity within the workplace.
