Managing Conflict in an Adult Care Setting (man-con-ad)

Description
This course will help you to understand how to manage and conduct yourself appropriately during times of conflict. Conflict can occur in many ways, with a variety of people in an adult care setting and often can be avoided or resolved quickly if dealt with effectively.

We will all be faced with challenging situations at times and will all need to be able to manage potential or actual conflict experiences. It is essential this is managed effectively to ensure it does not escalate.

In the workplace there is the age old saying that the customer is always right. Whilst we should always be respectful towards everyone we come into contact with, it is also important that we safeguard ourselves. It is therefore important to understand what is not acceptable and how to manage this.

This training course will provide valuable learning experiences to ensure learners know what to do in any given situation, how to prevent further conflict and how to react when faced with conflict.
